Blood Lust

Loretta didnt reply.

Stella looked at Raven. "You're hungry, aren't you? Theres no food in this house... you'll have to go to the village if you want anything like that."

Raven turned his head to stella.

"Fair enough. I'll be in town if you need me." Raven said in an angered tone

he headedfor te door.

"Seems you wont be needing another pathetic human in your little party here."

And he stormed out.

Stella turned to Loretta.

"Why did you say that to him?"

Loretta turned to the window, watching Raven as he moved away from the castle.

"He's become a liability. Its best for him."

Stella stood up and opened the window.

"I'm going. I... like him."

And she leapt from the window.

Raven marched towards the town. He arrived. it was deserted. he stopped and looked round.

Her then saw an Inn. He marched towards it

there has to be some food in here

He kicked the door in. and marched in. He then jumped over he bar and into the back kitchen. He opend the walk in fridge and saw cuts of meat, steak, all sorts. He smiled and started to eat everything he could get his hands on.

It took him a while to satisfy his hunger. He closed te walk in frige and made his way out side. As he jumped the bar again. He heard noises outside. he peered out of the window. A legion of vampires were storming the town. there were maruses troops.

Raven did not hesitate. He belived he still had the strength he once had. He marched out of the door with crossbow in his had. He looked at th hilt once more. But he could feel om sort of power coming from it.

As raven stepped out he shot his cross bow immeadeatly taking down some vampires from the sky.

"Time to clean up this mess."

Loretta looked out of the window once more, suddenly seeing the mass of vampires that had appeared, so quickly as if from nowhere.

"They must be using Lecarde's old underground system..."

Her eyes widened. "Stella!"

She jumped out of the window in pursuit.

Meanwhile, Stella had reached the outskirts of town. She could hear shouting, and the smell of battle. She swiftly leapt up onto the roof of a building and, blade drawn, she began to make her way towards the center of town.

Raven was surrounded. Ground troops were everywhere there as no where to run. He had no melee weapon to hand. So he reliedon his speed and precision aiming to take out the vampires.

As he did so he could tell his vampiric speed had not changedat all. Watching vampires fall to dust as he shot them. But suddednly a bezerker caught him off guard and smashed him into the air with his great sword. Then one of the flying vampires caught him and repeatidly started to punch him in the face. It then grabbed his foot swung round and launched him into th ground.

A clud of dust flying into the air. Raven had not experenincedpain like this befor as he got up an spat out a mouthfull of blood.

"I'm not givingup yet you basterds!" As he said this the jewl at the end of the hilt began to glow

Stella ran towards where Raven attacking two vampires with a single slash from behind, cutting them in half at the torso. She saw Raven, his face bloody, the glow from his hilt emitting a strange light.

Loretta reached the village entrance, unsheathing her Rapier and heading toward the battle.

The vampires Pilled ontop of raven. He dissapeared under apile of vampires. He could not move he was getting ripped apart. The hilt in his hand was now glowing a bright red.

Raven's eyes pulsed a purple colour. And th immence strength that raven ammitted he sent a load of vampires flying into the air. The hilt then morphed into the shape of a huge scythe. Its crimson blade shone with its jet black handel. Like 2 tree roots intertwinning to make it.

Raven then without hesitation started to hack Vampires to peices. He span in the air decapitating vampires. He then landed crouched on the ground with his scythe held behind him. A smile spread across his face.

Stella ran towards Raven, and whipped her blade, the sword extending and wrapping round the nearest vampire. With a quick tug, she flug the vampire into three others, sending them sprawling to the floor. She leapt, retracting the blade, and landed back to back with Raven.

"Looks like Marcus has made a move..."

"The numbers are increasing. I wouldnt be surprised if the brothers were reunited by now."

Just thn the vampires stopped dead in there tracks. surrounding the pair. And from the sky down came Galren in moltervain form he landed right infront of Raven. He sniffed the air. as he did so a smile spread cross his face. He laugh evily.

"The almighty Raven. Now human!! This is most ammusing."

Raven pointed His Scyth at Galren.

"I dont want to fight you Galren. Your under a trance."

"Pah! I have turned to the better side. The true Brother hood of Drajer!"

Raven lowered his voice so only stella could hear.

"Thats what i cant stand about vampires. Too Pretenciouse.....No Offence."

Galren started to charge at Raven but rabven parried his taack with ease. Sending him stubling into a horde of vampires.

Loretta broke through the circle of vampires, lunging after Galren. She pounced, unsheathing her blade, and landing on top of his downed body, her rapier piercing his chest.

"You're not a Drajer!"

She punched his face with all her strength, and stood to her feet.

"You're a monster."

Galren Threw her off ofhim. The blade sticking out of his chest he stood up and ripped it out. He threw it to the ground.

Raven attacked him from behinds slicing his left arm off with his scythe. The arm falling limply to the ground. Galren let out and almighty raw. He kicked off the ground and flew into the air. He turned round. to Face raven.

"This wont be the last you see of me you pathetic human!"

And he flew off into the sky. His arm on the floor furning into dust.

Suddenly the watching vampires sprang back into action. Many of them had blades erupting from the backs of their wrists, forming swords that were attached to their arms. Others had wings erupt from their backs in bursts of black feathers. They rallied together and attacked, blades flying and whirling towards the trio.

Stella let out a cry of rage, and ran towards the nearest vampire, slashing it across the face, blood spraying across the faces of other vampires. They licked the blood around their lips, and smiled. They span their blades, and charged.

Raven Jumped in te air and did a 360 turn decapitating a horde of vamps that were charging. Their bodies falling to dust. Ravven then parried the oncoming attacks from another group of vamps kicking them down to the ground and plungin the scyth blade into thair chests. He liked to drag the blade righ through their body. The blood flying. Splatters hitinghis face and an evil smile spreading across it.

Galren landed at the stone alter. Stumbeling at leaons and marcuses's feet. Cardeling his bloody stump of a sholder. He spoke.

"Raven...Human...all 3 of them....powerful."

Marcus looked down on him.

"You ar a pathetic fool. But raven now human? Bt what aout raculda?"

Then an idea hit him. A smile spreadin across his face asit did.

"You need to come with me young elf. there are things we must do." He offered his hand to help galren up

Th trio vanquished the last f the vampires, their fallen bodies exploding into dust.

"This is it." Said Loretta. "We need to take Marcus down. We are as ready as we'll ever be." She turned to Raven. "You've proven your worth."

Stella sheathed her blade, and looked to the sky. She had seen where Galren had flown, and had a good idea of where he had retreated to.

Raven frowened at loretta.

"Proven my worth? What am i a knight in your royal army? i dont need to be patronised like this."

Raven thew his scyth onto his back, The bade of the scyth folding in against the blade as he did so.

"If and when you feel like showing me some respect ill be stocking up with supplys in that inn over here. If your gone when im done. Ill take care of the drajers myself."

and with that Raven headed for the Inn

Loretta crossed her arms as Raven walked away.

"Stubborn fool... I had no intention of insulting him..."

Stella turned to Loretta.

"You're still human, aren't you? Like him."

Loretta closed her eyes. "Hmph, only just."

Raven made his way into the inn he jumped over the bar once more and made his way into the back kitchedgrabbing all the fod he could carry.

He stopped for a second. His mind debating weather he should go back outsie and join the girls.

"Hmph"

Galren and Marcus walked to inside a huge castel like building. Walking side by side galren was still cradelling his severed arm. Marcus led him into a small room.

"come in Galren. We will start work right away." a smile spread over Marcus's face.
